FC Barcelona vs. Borussia Dortmund Champions League Lineup: Flick Goes All Out

Ahead of the highly anticipated Champions League match between FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund, Hansi Flick has announced his starting lineup for the German club. Despite the odds being heavily in favor of the Spanish giants, Flick has opted to go all out with a strong and attacking lineup.

Borussia Dortmund will start with a 4-3-3 formation, featuring Erling Braut Haaland up front alongside Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus. The midfield trio of Jude Bellingham, Thomas Delaney, and Axel Witsel is designed to provide both defensive solidity and attacking flair.

In defense, Flick has chosen to start with the experienced pairing of Manuel Akanji and Niklas Süle at center-back, flanked by the dynamic wing-backs of Marius Wolf and Raphael Guerreiro.

Here is the Borussia Dortmund starting lineup for the match:

Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel

Defenders: Marius Wolf (right-back), Manuel Akanji (center-back), Niklas Süle (center-back), Raphael Guerreiro (left-back)

Midfielders: Jude Bellingham (central midfield), Thomas Delaney (central midfield), Axel Witsel (central midfield)

Forwards: Erling Braut Haaland (striker), Jadon Sancho (right wing), Marco Reus (left wing)

With this lineup, Flick is clearly looking to take the game to FC Barcelona and capitalize on any opportunities that come their way. However, it remains to be seen whether his team can overcome the odds and pull off a major upset in the Champions League.
