Academy Announces 97th Oscars® Shortlists in 10 Categories

Los Angeles, CA – The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has revealed the shortlists for the 97th Academy Awards® in 10 categories: Documentary Feature Film, Documentary Short Film, International Feature Film, Makeup and Hairstyling, Music (Original Score), Music (Original Song), Animated Short Film, Live Action Short Film, Sound, and Visual Effects.

Documentary Feature Film

Fifteen films have advanced in the Documentary Feature Film category out of 169 eligible entries. The shortlist was determined by voting members of the Documentary Branch.
