Former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor is reportedly delaying his return to MMA for a boxing exhibition match.
According to ESPN, McGregor announced on X that he has agreed to fight Logan Paul.
“I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed,” McGregor wrote. “I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”
It remains unclear whether Paul has officially agreed to the bout.
Logan Paul, a YouTuber and the older brother of Jake Paul, has previously participated in multiple boxing exhibitions, including a notable matchup with Floyd Mayweather. McGregor himself also faced Mayweather in a high-profile fight back in 2017.
Meanwhile, McGregor’s announcement comes just weeks after an Irish civil court jury ordered him to pay over $250,000 to a woman who accused him of rape. The 36-year-old fighter denied the allegations, claiming the encounter was consensual and that the woman fabricated the accusations.
